Let the good times roll!
While we honour the Boonah bowling heritage, we’re keen to introduce this fun, social game to new players. Our main green hosts skilled local bowlers twice a week, many of whom have been rolling bowls in Boonah for decades.
We’re also building a new following of barefoot bowlers. Rally your friends and join us for a casual, barefoot roll with mates.
SOCIAL BOWLS & CROQUET
Social bowls are played at The Bowl on Wednesdays and Sundays. Social bowlers must BYO their bowls.
Social Croquet is played every Tuesday.
The croquet group store equipment on site and welcome new players.
Bowls
Played Wednesdays and Sundays from 8.45am. (Weather dependent)
Croquet
Played Tuesdays from 4pm in Summer and on Tuesday mornings during Winter. (Weather dependent)
Come down and say hello and meet the friendly crew.
To play social bowls or croquet you must become a member of The Bowl ($20/year), which includes insurance and some member incentives.
Playing fees are $10/session.
Barefoot Bowls
If you’re not a serious bowler and just want to enjoy a relaxed roll in the sun – or under lights – with your mates, barefoot bowls is for you.
It’s a fun way to enjoy time with friends, soak in the scenic mountain views and grab some rays.
We’ll provide bowls, scorecards and a simple introduction of how to play.
Make a session of it and book a Barefoot Bowls Food & Drink package.
Barefoot Bowls Bookings are available, or just turn up and we’ll do our best to fit you in.

Includes 90-minutes on the green and everything you’ll need to play.

Meet the Greenkeeper
Trevor Smith is a familiar face around the bowls club and has been the volunteer greenskeeper in Boonah since 2014.
He and his wife Jean were dedicated members of the original Boonah Bowls Club and have been involved in local bowing since 1998.
Trevor goes above and beyond to ensure our greens are kept neat and in top condition.
We are grateful for Trevor’s dedication and commitment to the greens and encourage you to throw him some love when you see him around the Club.
