 From our Scenic Food Bowl

The Bowl is situated in the heart of the fertile Scenic Rim food bowl and brings a new dining experience to Boonah.

The kitchen team is led by executive chef Olivier Boudon. Olivier is an eight generation French chef that has worked all around the world. He is passionate about using local fresh produce. Chef Jake Hatch has joined our team. Jake comes from the UK and has worked in a number of exceptional venues. The Scenic Rim is lucky to have a high calibre of chefs in the region.

Our kitchen heroes Scenic Rim produce where we can seasonally. Our chef-run kitchen means we are able to make foccacia and dishes from scratch, such as risottos, beer battered barramundi, arancini balls and more. Our menu features unique flavours along with the classics such as a quality schnitzel, a selection of local steaks and delicious burgers. The Bowl kitchen team prides itself on quality and will let the true flavours of the produce shine through.

Front of house and events is headed by Emily Lochran, who brings 20 years of events experience to The Bowl.

Emily will draw on her flair for fun to create memorable events.

Emily is supported by a team of talented locals who will ensure your time at The Bowl Boonah is one to remember.

SUNDAY BREAKFAST

Enjoy watching the social bowlers on a Sunday morning with a chef breakast, hot or iced coffee by Wolff coffee roasters with a side of mountain views.

The Bowl Bar

Our bar team has researched and spent time testing to make an amazing range of affordable, delicious drinks. From adult soft drinks and mocktails to local gin, cocktails and wines. Classic beers on tap and a craft beer fridge. There’s something on our bar menu for everyone.

Thurs from 4pm……. Fri – Sun from 11am

 

The Bowl Restaurant: Bookings are not essential but are encouraged for inside restaurant seating. 

Outdoor Picnic Tables: can be booked but are weather dependent.  In the event of bad weather the booking is no longer available. In that instance please check if there is availability inside at The Bowl Restaurant.

Bar Seating: walk ins welcome

Book our Private Dining Room: Groups of up to 12 people can book The Private Dining Room. Order from the menu, or pre-book a special event menu.
